ファーザー・ジョン・ミスティ（Father John Misty）が新作『God’s Favorite Customer』を6月1日（金）にリリースすることを先日発表。

しかし、新作『God’s Favorite Customer』がリリースを前にApple Musicで一時的に公開されてしまうという自体が発生。

新作の流出をうけて、ファーザー・ジョン・ミスティのオフィシャルFacebookのプロフィール画像が変更。

眉間に手を当てたアートワークに「アルバムが1ヶ月早く流出したとき（When Your Album Leaks A Month Eary）」文字が加えられ、まるで流出に頭を抱えているかのような画像となっています。

新作『God’s Favorite Customer』から2曲公開中

新作『God’s Favorite Customer』からは“Just Dumb Enough to Try”と“Disappointing Diamonds Are the Rarest of Them All”の2曲が正式に公開。

アルバムには東京での来日公演で披露された新曲“Mr. Tillman”も収録されます。
