世界に冠たるコンポーザー鷺巣詩郎が、アルバム『SHIRO’S SONGBOOK 11』を本日1月26日（水）発売する。
鷺巣本人による約40,000字のライナーノーツも記載！
11作目となる今作は、多種多彩な歌唱、大編成オーケストラから世界有数のリズムセクション、世界最先端のダンスミュージックを駆使したオリジナル楽曲が収録されている。
作品の中にはデモ音源として作られた楽曲もあり、“break for the border”はMISIAに提供した“DIAMOND”のプロトタイプとなる楽曲も収録。“finest hour”は福田雄一監督のミュージカル映画『ヲタクに恋は難しい』に作ったデモであったが、その後ヴォーカルが男性に変更となり、山﨑賢人が歌った“僕に何ができるのだろう”となった。
他にも先鋭ダンスビート、沁みるバラードなど、歌モノを極めたDisc-1からエヴァ、ナディアのセルフカバー、NHKスペシャルのテーマ曲などをオーケストラや合唱が感動的に奏でるDisc-2まで大傑作ぞろいとなっている。さらに、鷺巣本人の約40,000字のライナーノーツも記載しているのであわせてチェックして欲しい。
