『VOGUE』のケンダル・ジェンナー（Kendall Jenner）をモデルに起用したスタイリングに批判の声が集まっています。

ケンダル・ジェンナーがアフロヘアーのような髪型をしているということに関して「文化の盗用、私物化（cultural appropriatio）」ではないかとの批判の声が上がっています。

CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fundの15周年を記念したBrock Collectionのドレスを着用したカットを『Vogue』が公開。

「だれか本当のアフロでそばかすのあるモデルを代わりに起用しては？」、「白人のような見た目でないモデルがお望みであれば有色人種のモデルを起用すればいいのに。」などのコメントが寄せられています。一方でケンダル・ジェンナーのファンが擁護するコメントも寄せられています。

『Vogue』は「このイメージはロマンティクなエドワード朝／ギブソン・ガールのアップデートでその時代の感じのあるBrock Collectionのドレスに合うものです。」とアフロヘアーをイメージしたものではないことを説明。

さらに、「これが意図していないように受け取られてしまっており申し訳なく思っております、誰かを傷つける意味は確実にありませんでした。」と誤解を生んだことを謝罪しています。
