DJたちのプレイ以外で印象的だったのは、イベントの中盤で行われた〈Thunderdome〉のレアアイテムを販売するオークションだ。ジャケットやレアTシャツ、レコードに〈Thunderdome〉の看板（！）まで、オーディエンスが欲しいアイテムを挙手性で入札をしていった。ダンスフロアとは異なる熱気が伝わってくるひと時だった。
What I found most impressive apart from the performances was the rare item auction that was held midway through the event. Jackets. rare T-shirts, records and Thunderdome signboards(!) The audience could bid on their desired paraphernalia by raising their hand. In that moment, fervor that differed from that of the dance floor emanated from the stage.
今回参加したことで＜Die Hard Day＞はHardcoreの魅力を凝縮したイベントだと感じた。そう、Hardcoreの魅力は激しい音楽だけでは無い。髪型やタトゥーなどのファッション、独自のロゴやデザイン、ステッカー、そして会場を照らす最高のライティングなど、様々な要素が宝石の様に散りばめられて文化になっている。それが肌で感じることができるのが＜Die Hard Day＞なのである。またオーディエンスからアーティスト、イベンターを含めてこの音楽に関わる人、それぞれからHardcoreに対する愛情も多く感じられた。
I felt like the appeal of hardcore was concentrated at Die Hard Day. Indeed, there is more to its appeal than mere intense music. With the hairstyles and tattoos, fashion, proprietary logos and designs, stickers and the excellent lighting that illuminated the halls, it felt like the event was adorned with various components, as if studded with gemstones, that combined to form culture. Die Hard Day allows you to experience that in the flesh. I could also feel the abundant love toward hardcore of everyone involved in this music, including the audience members, artists and organizers.
